Don’t Rest on Your Laurels

We have all heard some variation of the quote :

“Your past doesn’t define you, your future does”

It is a gentle reminder that hardships do not have to hold you back from accomplishing great things. And this is true, however, we never want to talk about the opposite side of that thought.

You can not rest and the laurels of past achievements indefinitely.
Relish your spotlight, you deserve it. But that single event does not define you. All you have done is set the bar that much higher.

Even if you have several great things accomplished does not equate to future success. The only thing that will ensure success follows; is the hard work and dedication and you demonstrated to get to this level. Get out there and work
