The bible to all snipers outlines specific skills for employment and tactical proficiency. Should be used as a reference and updated every 3 to 5 years.

A book written by Che; outlining the Cuban revolution and the tactics that guerrilla fighters had to adapt to be successful. Read to fully understand the capabilities and limitations of a sniper, as there are more than a few similarities.

“Snipers Notebook” By John C. Simpson
This book is slightly more difficult to get your hands on, as you have to prove LEO/Military Affiliation to the author. It outlines the distinction between LEO and MIL snipers and the training that is coincided between both. A reasonable alternative is Foundations of Sniper Marksmanship by the same author.
